My current work is a series of large abstract paintings in acrylic on different substrates, focusing on evoking emotion through layered color and texture. These works invite viewers to immerse themselves in the interplay of depth and light, and engage in a personal and sensory exploration.
ABOUT THE ARTIST
Reconnecting with my creative practice in the last few years has renewed my focus on the power of emotional connection. I am an emerging artist working and living in Toronto, Ontario. I am currently completing my Bachelor of Fine Arts at OCADU. I was previously at OCADU in 1997, where I was fortunate enough to participate in the OCADU Florence program. Since then, I have continued to expand my artistic knowledge and skills through self-teaching, drawing inspiration from art galleries, exhibitions, and ongoing studies.
